The Flower Patch

Just a short distance from The Hut, is our cut flower patch where we will be growing a wide variety of beautiful, fragrant, seasonal flowers and foliage. Having only started this in January 2021, it is certainly still a work in progress - fun work nonetheless!

Watching tiny seeds sown in spring turn into beautiful flowers in summer, to then take centre stage in a bouquet is a truly unique experience. Our "home grown" flowers, available late Spring to early Autumn, will be cut to order for our bouquets, cut-flower workshops, weddings, and other florists looking for a locally grown floral aesthetic.

Our patch flowers carry no air miles and are a true reflection of the season, grown and harvested naturally and sustainably without the use of any harmful chemicals. We even use the waste of our imported flowers as compost to feed everything in our patch.

2024 has us growing over 1500 narcissi bulbs, 500 tulips and 300 alliums as well as many more gorgeous seasonal British flowers, so do keep your eyes peeled on our social media pages for further updates.
